Welcome to CraftyBlooms’ webpage on the DACPA website.

CraftyBlooms was born many years when my now grown children were very young. Having always enjoyed arts and craft, paper was just another medium with which to experiment and create! Other artistic expressions include sketching, interior decorating, events management and cake decorating.

Paper flowers caught my eye many years ago whilst browsing a favourite local bookstore that was closing down. My final purchases there were 2 books; creating paper flowers and flower arranging and of course crepe paper!

The initial stages of my new love were cut short as raising a young family, work and life regained priority but the dream never died!

During a trip overseas a few years ago, yet again in another store this time surrounded by 2 floors of all manner of craft supplies, my passion was revived and CraftyBlooms came alive!

CraftyBlooms’ flowers are made entirely from paper; from stem to leaves! Stems are handcrafted from paper tubes of recycled paper which are flexible and reshape quite easily for arranging your bouquet. Of course to add that extra special touch, some products are embellished with fabric, gemstones, glitter, petals tinted with oil and chalk pastels and acrylics!

Most products are reproductions of nature’s treasures with the occasional original design building on natural elements. In late 2015, the product line was expanded to include handcrafted gift cards to pen greetings for that special someone.

In early 2016, new packaging showcases CraftyBlooms products. Products are available directly from CraftyBlooms and select items from Glenda’s Variety Store on Hillsborough Street and the Buy Local SuperCentre on King George V Street in Roseau. New outlets are advertised on Facebook at MyCraftyBlooms and Instagram on craftyblooms as available.

Enquiries are welcome by Messenger, Instagram, Whatsapp, Gmail, Text Message and Telephone!

As always, ‘Don’t forget to smell the flowers!’
