Nyabi's Creations

Greetings and much thanks for visiting Nyabi's Creations Ltd profile page. Nyabi's Creations Ltd is a small family based business with thirty plus years of experience. The art of sewing itself, was developed in my parents from youth. For my mom, Rosie, her passion for sewing began as a child when she'd take my grandma's clothes to make underwear and clothes for her dolls and younger sister. Since then, she's been involved in sewing as a hobby and part-time occupation. Her product range is pretty much general and includes women, children and men clothing.

My dad, Bala, on the other hand, was trained on patchwork sheets as a child and descends from a line of tailors/seamstresses that stretches back to his great-grand parents. He has grown to create his own style of hats and the occasional patchwork bag. His hat designs are original, handmade and involve a considerable amount of patchwork. Hence, in very few cases will you meet two customers wearing the same hat design. His product was started as an entrepreneurial means of earning income to raise his family. Today, besides supplying his local customers, his hats can be found being worn globally as his product is a favourite among visitors to the Nature Isle.

And I, Kemai, along with my youngest sister Isanna-Marie have pursued the sewing of pouch purses and the marketing and networking aspects of the business.
